Scammers, love and the gospel.
Podcasts stories about how scammers took over the world, using love, crypto and the prosperity gospel.
When it comes to scams, we are all victims in a long queue, it is not a matter of “it can't be me” but when? what will you do if you lost… sorry what will you do when someone takes it all from you?
Darknet Diaries podcast
“I had another victim. For her, she ended up losing her house, losing custody of her kids, losing her relationship with her husband, and losing her business. She was overdue for over a million dollars, and when I asked her what kept her in, she said her husband was abusive, and she just wanted to feel loved.” Cyber sec hacker
The Nigerians use love and JUJU(Voodoos) and Indians use systematic processes... either way, a scam story is always enlightening, frightening, and, if told well, downright exciting! This one was told well.
The Opportunist podcast
More than 11 million dollars taken over a 10-year period—that's like receiving 1.1 million every year since 2014! 2014 ohh! do you remember what came out that year? "Because I'm happy, clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth.”
For over a decade, the Harris posed as loving family members, offering help with finances, errands, and even medical care led by the wife Susan. But behind the mask of concern lurked a chilling reality. They exploited their victims' trust, pilfering their life savings through forged signatures, online scams, and manipulative tactics. Every smile, every shared meal, was a calculated act in their elaborate con. Guess only one side was truly happy
Scamfluncers podcast
The story of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, the Teflon titans of Christian televangelism, wasn't just about a fallen preacher caught with his hand in the cookie jar (or worse, in Tammy's case). It was a saga of ambition, avarice, and faith gone awry, played out on a national stage bathed in the sickly glow of klieg lights and mascara tears. Raising millions and wasting millions of dollars on hotels, spar. One time Jim raised over $40k in 3 hours from just crying fake tears on live TV (prophesy Papa! Prophesy!).
The perfect scam podcast
First It was half a bitcoin(500k) then it was $1 million, then $5 million, and finally over 20 million dollars, stolen from people, all from a simple sim swapping scam, these guys had figured out the easiest way to make block(big cash), and the ring leader of this organization was a 17-year-old hacker leaving with his parent's, it is and was the example of a perfect scam (when I was 17 I was deff not making up to 20$ at all.)

Paying for things online in Nigeria can be challenging, and to make matters worse, it's not any ‘Cheaper’. However, I've discovered a Swyft, easy, and ‘Cheaper’ solution for online payments. Save yourself the hassle, especially when paying for services like Spotify Premium so you can listen to podcasts. Make it Swyft, 'Cheaper,' and hassle-free by using Swyftpay.
