Founders Journal Podcast
Decision-making is something as a builder, a founder, or an entrepreneur you can't hide from. Personally, this is something I struggle with. Last week, I was hung up on choosing to publish or not to publish a copy I wrote about 'why we shit' while literally taking a shit, even though I know it will bring more eyes to my business or worse people will think I’m crazy or funny. Notes from this episode helped me make a decision to not post it… yet. The good part is now I am not hung up trying to make the decision anymore, and I can focus on other things without it lingering in the back of my head as distractions. Alex titled this 'Momentum is Everything' and I strongly believe listening to this will help you as much as it has helped me. Especially if you have a company or a business.
My First Million Podcast.
Writing is a skill, and anyone can learn it. I mean anyone. I have followed this written scripture from Sam Parr and Shaan Puri for the last 4 months, and it has helped grow the newsletter to over 700 views in 30 days. All I did was listen to these guys preach. Religiously, as a founder, storytelling, and marketing are something you need in your arsenal we both know. I swear on my overused right kidney you won't regret it.
The Tech Startup Show
Aside from the fact I am the audio editor of this podcast. Let's be honest some business ideas or "how to build a startup" advice simply don't consider the realities of different locations. For example, you are a founder in Nigeria where the distance between the dollar and the Naira keeps getting wider, “e dey swell like garri”.
In this context, how do you even consider charging $8 per month at scale when the common refrain is "I don't have a working card" or "I can't afford 12,856 NGN a month"
This episode with Noah Kagan as a guest breaks that stereotype. It points out the reason why people in situations like Nigeria or third-world countries need to test their ideas and how to turn them into actionable steps and build a business in 48 hours, also teaches the value of asking as a founder. It's one of the best ones out there.
